We recently had a women walk into the shop who needed some vinyl lettering cut for some donation boxes for her church. The program’s goal is to bring in toys for underpriviledged children.
I found this to be a worthy cause and felt compelled to donate the time and materials to complete her project.
Here is a picture of one of the boxes with the lettering applied…
Operation Samaritan's Purse
She was surprised and very greatful that I could contribute in this way.
This is just one example of how we here at Sign Man, Inc. try to give back to our community.
Below is a nice thank you letter that we received.

Last week, a company called Space Coast Oil approached us to create a logo for their new company Space Coast Truck & Lube. The idea of the company is to do oil changes and general maintenance on large fleet vehicles such as ¾ ton pick up trucks and larger. Due to their size and weight, these trucks cannot go to general oil change places to get their vehicles worked on. Space Coast Truck & Lube will accommodate companies with fleets that have these large vehicles and other customers who cannot simply go to your neighborhood oil change facility to get their vehicles worked on.
The parent company, Space Coast Oil uses green and black with hints of orange for their color scheme and they wished to use more orange in their design for this logo. They didn’t have a direction for the logo as far as icons or style of text so I cam up with a few different variations to show them.
Afterwards, we settled on a few font styles and a general look for the logo; which was refined into the designs below.
Lastly they wanted to see the different font styles for the logo selected so I created a layout for those.
Here is the final logo that Space Coast Truck & Lube chose for their company.
Every year around this time, the Brevard Zoo holds its annual Boo At the Zoo – a great family event. It started last weekend and will continue for the next 2 – the dates are the 21st-23rd and the 28th-30th. The event opens at 5:30 and ends at 9:30.
For the younger kids, enjoy Ooz Draverb, a carnival-like play area with dancing too. The event features a themed Boo Choo train ride for everyone, a costume contest, witch’s lair, and trick-or-treating at more than 30 treat stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations.
For children 10 and older, the Haunted Trail is not for the faint of heart so you may want to keep your little ones away from this venue.
We have the privilege of providing the signs for this event every year. It is always with a sense of pride that we get to help guide visitors through the event and get to make up the ever-important sponsor sign and even warn folks of potential hazards.
Here are a few of the signs that we produced this year:

We had a sad incident happen recently in our town. A high school student was tragically taken before his time. He was a football player on Eau Gallie High School’s football team and everyone is distraught over this loss of life. The school has decided to retire his jersey number and approached Sign Man, Inc. to help produce 2 bigger than life replicas that will be mounted to the scoreboard as a permanent tribute. We gladly supplied the necessary request at below our actual cost. Here is a picture of the jersey…
We sincerely hope that this will be a reminder to current and future students that all life is valuable and precious.
Recently we did the signage for the Brevard Zoo’s new exhibit, Treetop Trek. Here are the layouts for those signs.
